Identity

I am

I know who I am
I’m a dreamer; I’m a believer
I live in a world of fantasy
Never wanting to see the reality

I turn back to the past
And try to make the present last
But the future, like a maze
Tries to catch me in a daze

I know I’m average
But I will progress with age
I will live for real
Try to find the real deal

I'll strive for the best
And aim for the rest
Show you when I'm done
Coz' I am who I am

I know who I am
I live as I am
I swear when I die
I'll go with a smile
